Shooting At Lancaster High School Today
The incident occurred on the 14th of September 2022 and the whole building was placed under lockdown. As said by the LA county sheriff’s department after they received the call, the deputies responded to the reports with heavy patrolling and police as well. They were informed that there was a person with a gun on the campus and an assault with a deadly weapon as well. The whole school was placed under lockdown and the officials searched the whole building from room to room and class to class but found nothing related to the shooting, Sheriffs reported that they found no evidence of an active shooter or anything related to the shooting.
Lockdown Imposed After Shooting At Lancaster High School
After the sheriffs announced that there was no threat to the students the lockdown was lifted and pictures from a helicopter showed that was a large police presence and students walked out of the building after the lockdown was lifted. A vehicle that had police officers in them was seen patrolling and searching on the football field as well. As the police reported this call or service call of shooting in the school was similar to that of lockdowns imposed in Mater Dei High School which is in Chula Vista, Bishop Deigo High school which is in Santa Barbara, and Fresno’s Bullard High school as well and there was no immediate response to the reports if they were related but there was some kind of similarities in between them.
No Evidence Of Active Shooter Found
As per the Santa Barbara police, the shooting reported was just a false report, and the report is under examination. Likewise, there was also a report that showed that there was a lockdown imposed at the Hollywood high school on Tuesday which was similar to this one. As there are many reports being received of shooting and the police are at rescue, police in many areas stated that the shootings reported might be due to eth fear that earlier as well many shootings occurred in many schools and civilians are being cautious about their security. Police encouraged the civilians and the commoners to be cautious, and active and yet not to hurry in any of the statements.
