Dalit Sisters In Up Dies
The police arrested the suspects in the case and it was been revealed that the suspects strangled the girls to death because they insisted the rapist get married because they got involved and raped them. SP Sanjeev Suman said in a statement that the girls were indeed friendly with the accused but after they got raped they started insisting they get married and that made the men angry and they strangled the girls to death by hanging them with their dupattas along with the help of their other two friends to make it look like the girls committed suicide. The three of them who were involved in the rape and the two who helped them were all from a neighbouring village In Uttar Pradesh where the girls lived.
What Happened With The Dalit Girls In Up?
Police stated that the girl was a known person to a commoner in between the girls and the rapist called chotu who introduced the girls to the rapist. At the time when the rape was committed chotu was not involved and was not around as well. While the three men raped and hanged the girls with the help of the other two men. Chotu was from the same village as the girls while the three who raped and the two who helped the rapists in covering up the crime were from a nearby village. One of the people who were among the six accused was caught in an encounter on Wednesday morning by police and he is currently in custody and getting treated as he got shot in the leg.
Who Were The Suspects?
All of the six accused who were caught in this case were charged and booked for murder, rape, and rape under the protection of the Children Against Sexual Offense act. A post-mortem is been held and it is videography as well. Apart from that one member of the family of eth girls will be present during the post-mortem as they insisted to do so. The girls were aged around 14 years and 17 years old. The bodies of the girls were found hanging on a tree outside a village in the cane field and the family of the girls alleged that their girls were raped and murdered. The accused caught in the case were named as follows, chotu, Junaid, Sohail, Arif, hafiz, and Karimuddin. All of them are under custody and are getting interrogated.
