Who Was Dorli Rainey?
She described the importance of equality among racism, housing and public transit being affordable to everyone not only to the rich. She had even protested against war, nuclear weapons that could somehow cause damage to life directly and indirectly as well, and for big banks as well. In the year 2011, during November, when Occupy Wall Street movement, was at its early stage or say was just initiated, Rainey was around 84 years old and she joined the protestors to block the street intersections down. Later police decided to use pepper spray against the road blockers which was sprayed on her as well causing her eyes to get some infection.

She was blankly staring at the camera but she didn’t stop from doing what she intended to. She asked the mob to continue their work while she was standing at the very front. Later her photographs of continuing the protest even after getting somehow injured were used by many famous newspapers like The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The Associated Press and The Guardian as well.
