John Madden Death Reason
He departed from directing in 1978, citing a phobia of flying as one of the factors in his choice to transition to announcing. Madden was inducted into the Football Hall Of fame in 2006, 28 years after managing his championship match. Earl Madden and Mary Madden raised John Madden in Austin, Minnesota. When John was a child, his parents, an auto technician, relocated the Madden home to Daly Community, California, a city just southeast of San Francisco. His death was described as surprising, although no explanation was provided.

He inspired a whole generation and he will be remembered for his work and the coaching teachings he provided. He accomplished everything there was to achieve. Madden, a high school sports star, spent 1 semester at the School in San Mateo in 1954 before being offered a soccer scholarship to attend Oregon. They had two sons, Joseph and Michael, and lived in Pleasanton, California. Joe was a football star at Brown University, while Mike went to Harvard.

Madden’s antipathy to aviation was quite well recognized, but he did not recognize it until he was well into adulthood. Madden married Virginia Fields in a restaurant in Pismo Beach, California, and they married on December 26, 1959. Madden appeared in the film Little Giants. He also portrayed himself as the imaginary match announcer in the film The Spares, along with his television girlfriend at the time, Pat Summerall.
