Mike Moder was the son of director Dick Moder who was born on the 25th of April 1936 in North Hollywood. He started his education by attending Norte Dame High school and had his further education at Loyola University. He began his journey in the film industry with his first work in an Ad for Jeremiah Johnson which was back in the 1960s after that he did many works like Little Big Man, Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, Rio Lobo, Diner, and Cheech and Chong’s Up In Smoke. He produced many Tv shows and other featured films as well. He produced the telepic Cinderella which won him got him an Emmy nomination.

Mike produced many TV series as well in his career some of them include, The Wild Wild West, Snoops, Father Dowling Mysteries, Jake and the Fatman, Perry Mason and Diagnosis Murder TV movies, and also, Blind ambition to easy street. He worked in his first Ad in The boy in the plastic bubble, which was released in 1976. In the 1960s he worked on many other series like The Big Valley, The Rifleman, Stagecoach West, Ensign O Toole, The law, and Mrs Jones and wanted: Dead or alive. As per many sources and especially IMBD, Mike was in charge of the production of the Matlock series in the first seven seasons which starred Andy Griffith in the lead role and premiered on the ABC Channel broadcasting.

Mike was married to Patti and the two tied the knots in 1958 and shared five children along with her, Debbi, Jane, John, Jyl, and Danny. Petti passed away in 2001 after which Mike married Marisa Megurain back in 2003. When Mike was having his last moments, Marisa and Mike used to live in Nipomo, CA. Mike was father to five, Grandfather to nine, and great-grandfather to two children. Danny Moder shared a picture of his father and said that his father passed away. He added that Mike was athletic, cool, and used to make friends with everyone, whenever he wants. Lastly, he added that Mike would be missed dearly. Danny’s wife Julia and many others liked the post and people sent their condolences to the family in the comment section.
